Filtering SOAP

Hi all,

I hope this is the correct forum for this question.

I am working on the concept of filtering SOAP messages by the content - ie -
by urn of service and method of service being accessed.

I have come across and issue that puzzles me and hope someone can shed
light.

The Body of a SOAP message is only intended for the final recipient but the
header elements (if any exist) can be for any specified node - int other
words  the message can be multi hop. When a SOAP node recieves a message how
does it know that it is the final recipient or just an intermediary ?

The point I'm trying to make is - if I filter on only allowing services to
be accessed that are listed in the rules I may deny a message based on the
body when actually this message only considers the node to be an
intermediary.

Does that make any sense ? and does anyone have any advice ?
