Re: smtp bindings for SOAP

The SOAP spec uses HTTP as an example - which makes sense since it's the
most common today.  There is plenty of toolkit oriented material that
describes how to do this but I'm not aware of any specs.

There was an article on this in the October, 2002 Windows Developer
Magazine[1] that layes out things pretty clearly.  Or, you might start
by Googling for SOAP and SMTP[2].
