Further "standardization" of SOAP is being done by the W3C XML Protocols
Working Group.  A draft recommendation of SOAP 1.2, which is a significant
enhancement to the widely deployed (by early adopters) SOAP 1.1 is
available from the group web site at [1].  The organization known as
WS-I.org is working on the standardization of usage profiles for SOAP and
related technologies.  See [2,3].  The public list for discussion of SOAP
1.2 development is at [4].

hi everyone,

can someone please tell me if soap 1.0 is a finalized standard?  if it
isn't, does anyone know when it is expected to become a finalized
standard?
