error 0x800a13ee after EndMessage

Using the low level API of the 3.0 SOAP toolkit, I am occasionally seeing error 0x800A13EE after invoking EndMessage on an ISoapConnectorPtr. When this error does occur, it is usually followed by several of the same error code, all without messages. Does anyone have any idea what 0x800A13EE is? Thanks, Kyle
