Are you getting this error when you attempt to connect to the SQL Server or
during the SP execution? If it is the SP execution, how long does it take
normally? If it is the connect that is failing, where is the server located
in respect to the application? Our company has had intermittent (although
frequent) timeouts with SQL Server connections between our web server and DB
Server.

Subject: [VBCOM] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired

Hi,
I am working on vb, com+ with sql server 2000 as back end. I am
facing a peculiar problem while trying to connect to database. I have
totally 5 screens in my module and i am following the same method for
querying the database values but only in case of two forms its not
connecting to the database and instead its raising the following error,

"[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired"

can anyone tell the solution for this problem, its quite urgent.

Actually i am trying to execute a stored procedure through VB in all forms
In execute statement of command object i am getting this error.

waiting for good reply asap

Thanks
Manikandan
