check your include directories in tools options directories and specifically the order in which the files are represented. usually changing these around seems to help -----Original Message----- From: Mark Hall [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 29 May 2002 12:07 To: [email protected] Subject: [VBCOM] Getting MIDL to work Guys, I'm trying to compile an IDL file with MIDL and I'm getting the following error: "midl : command line error MIDL1001 : cannot open input file oaidl.idl" I've installed the latest platform SDK so I'm on MIDL Version 6.00.0347. I'm also using windows xp so I'm not sure if that's anything to do with it? I've used MIDL in the past (although on win2k) with no problems. Anyone help??
