Re: Getting MIDL to work

I'm using MIDL from the command line (so there's no Tool..Options.).
I'm going to use the TLB from VB.

check your include directories in tools options directories and
specifically the order in which the files are represented. usually
changing these around seems to help

Guys,

I'm trying to compile an IDL file with MIDL and I'm getting the
following error:

 "midl : command line error MIDL1001 : cannot open input file oaidl.idl"

I've installed the latest platform SDK so I'm on MIDL Version 6.00.0347.
I'm also using windows xp so I'm not sure if that's anything to do with
it?  I've used MIDL in the past (although on win2k) with no problems.

Anyone help??
