Thanks Yves,

I found a good article [1] on the batchfile approach, however I'm using NMake.EXE to build the project.
I'd like to figure some way to generate the makefile from the VB6 project file.

Best

Hello,

I have done this from batch files
It is quite easy, it is documented in msdn
It really helps for big projects

I unregistered dll's
download the source from sources safe
compiled
registered (done automaticly)
upload dll in sourcesafe
and send a mail

logged all this in a .log

Just simple batch files
I know there are some tools for it (don't know the names) but haven't found any good)

I understand that projects can be built from the command line using VB6.EXE
Does anyone know if there is an existing tool to automatically generate makefiles for a project, similar to SlingShot [1] in .NET?

Best wishes

S
