Moving off of CVS would be great. I love GIT, especially its speed... but what really makes GIT shine for open source it GITHub. It allows a simple way for people to fork the project and submit patches as a pull request that is managed in GITHub. I'm not sure that sourceforge has those types of features.

So, not only would I support moving to GIT but also moving to GITHub... if not whole hog... at least to support source code tracking/code reviews/etc.

Also, for grins quite a while ago I imported NAnt into GIT and put it up on my github account. If you want to take a look at it. It bought in all the changes and comments and looks really nice.
