Blog stuff has no versioning and cannot be altered by users. Wiki
articles have versioning and can be changed by users. So the most
logical thing would be to put all community stuff in the wiki and
news, notifications etc on the blog.

Only thing is can the data from the wiki be exported/extracted to
static html? As having only online documentation is far from ideal and
doing that process by hand too :).
