Two levels of disussion here:
1) How to make the extension work with NUnit as it now exists
2) How to make it work in 2.5 and later versions

For 2.5, we can consider changes that add new extension points.
We can also provide alternate interfaces or extend existing
ones in a backward compatible way. I'd like to have specific
suggestions however, because I still fail to see how the
extension under discussion would help you: BuildFrom is
called at a time when the user fixture has not yet been
constructed.
