Hi All,

I believe I have resolved the performance issues in 2.4.5 and 2.4.6, which
come up when the application or the tests are doing lots of logging.

I'd like some folks with the problem to try out an interim build before
I release it and tell me how it works for them. The drops are at
  http://nunit.org/downloads/temp/NUnit-2.4.7-net-1.1.msi and
  http://nunit.org/downloads/temp/NUnit-2.4.7-net-2.0.msi

The nature of the fix is that

1) The internal log4net appender now defauts to "Error" rather than "All"
2) You can change the threshold in the test config file

I'm looking for an evaluation of how this works for folks who have been
experiencing the specific logging-related problem. It won't do anything
to speed up NUnit in other situations, although everyone is welcome to
try it out.

Charlie
