Seriously, there's F#. I love Python, but I can't impose it on my
colleagues. Perl...I'm not gonna impose that on myself.
IronPython...it's not a product, it's not supported as a product, and
Jim Hugunin's not paying me. I don't PowerShell will run scripts, but
I've found it baffling, and don't have the time to overcome that
bafflement. However...

You want to learn a cool new language, and win the intellectual bona
fides that come with functional programming? Use F#. Seriously. It's
been a real struggle for me, since I'm not trained in it (didn't go to
MIT), but it's also been an eye-opener. You're going to be seeing more
of it. Because it comes from Microsoft, I *can* justify making it part
of our environment and build process.
