2.4.6 Hang Issue

We are using version 2.4.6 for .Net 1.1 to run our tests on our build server. Our test dll (.Net 1.1) has 7849 tests in. No tests have been updated and the tests were running successfully. We installed the .Net 3.5 Framework and we are now getting random test execution hangs. I can replicate this behavior on my machine using the NUnit GUI. We are referencing the dll and not an NUnit project. I have had it hang at test 1163, 7603, and everywhere in between. I have gotten it to run all the way through once so I know it is not a test issue. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.
