Hi Colin,

I'm not sure what you're running, but nunit-console doesn't have -v and -q
options. Can you provide the command line you are using?

Charlie

Subject: [Nunit-users] Running tests in the console is very slow

Hello.

I am running unit tests from the GUI and it can take 2 or 3 minutes.

When running the same unit tests from the console it takes in excess of 40
minutes - the CPU is taking a thrashing for the duration.

When running via the console I originally ran with -v (verbose mode on) to
aid development of my NAnt script. Also tried -q (in case the speed had
something to do with content being logged to the console window) with no
difference.

The console.exe.config has not been changed and I am running NUnit version
2.4.6

I really require to run with the console as I am looking to hook this into
NAnt, Cruise Control etc.

Any help/advice/pointers gratefully accepted.

Thanks

Colin
