About Source Control

This is just an idea!

 

I was thinking in the meaning of source control, and at least for me, it
should mean more than source versions. In the agile world, one of the rules
that probably everyone in this list knows is that you cannot check-in a
piece of code if some test fail. You don't think that the source control is
the one in charge to decide if it's ok to check-in your code based on the
test results. I'm thinking in something like NUnit integrated with
subversion or even more, a complete suite of tools that put together all the
agile practices/rules. 

 

If the open source community one day decides to develop such tool, I hope be
part of that.
