Thanks Charlie, I've got to the point where installing VS again seems
like the only option.

Hi Jon,

I'm sorry to say I don't have a clue. I do what you are trying to do all
the time myself, without problem.

My only suggestion - short of reinstalling VS - would be to try to
attach using the .NET debuger to

see if that behaves any differently.

Maybe other folks have some ideas.

Charlie

	Hi Charlie,

When I run NUnit on its own then I can run any test, if I am
using visual studio or try to attach to the process then NUnit won't
even start, it just freezes visual studio. I am running both NUnit and
the tests from my local drive.

	Hi Jon,

No, I have not seen this before. I think there has to be
something out of the ordinary

going on with the tests. What happens when you run NUnit's own
tests, or a test

	test that does nothing?

I should also ask: are you loading both NUnit and the tests from
your local drive?

	Charlie

		Hi Charlie,

The tests run fine outside of visual studio however I
cannot attach visual studio to the process without the same problem.
This means I cant debug my code, have you seen something similar?

		Thanks

		Jon

		Hi John,

Do the tests run OK outside of Visual Studio?

			Hi,

I am using NUnit version 2.2.9 but I have also
experienced this problem with version 2.4.7. I have been using NUnit
problem free for the past 2 years on the same machine but recently when
I try to run my NUnit project from Visual Studio 2005 the application
will just hang. The Screen becomes white and I have to end the Visual
Studio process in task manager. I have tried to uninstall and re-install
NUnit but I still get the same problem, has anyone seen this before?

			Thanks

			Jon
