Hi Phil,

Since NUnit throws an NUnit.Framework.AssertionException whenever an assert
fails, you can tell
Visual Studio to break when that exception is thrown.

Subject: [Nunit-users] Break on Assert failure?

If this feature is already in NUnit, I'd like to know how to use it.
If it's not, this is a feature request.

I'm trying to test quite complicated algorithms under lots of different
conditions. So my tests generate data according to prescribed recipes, then
invoke the algorithms. Quite often, the algorithms fail for particular sets
of data. What I'd like to do is to be able to run a set of NUnit tests
under the (Visual Studio) debugger so that a failure in an NUnit Assert
statement would not simply exit the test with a failure, but would cause a
break in my code execution. Is there a way to arrange this?

Thanks, Phil
