Category attribute on Fixture SetUps

I have a class marked with a [SetUpFixture] attribute. I also went
ahead and added Category attribute hoping that I could prevent that
fixture from running by excluding the category. However the fixture
setup method still executes. Is Category attribute strictly used to
mark TestFixtures?
