Re: TestFixtures not detected in assembly loaded fromnetwork drive

Hi,

Maybe it's a problem with the .net 2.0 security settings.
A colleague sent us a mail on how to update the security settings. This
seems to be necessary to run .NET applications from network drives as
such.

You need to download a special program from Microsoft (cannot provide
you with a link as I only have the internal location of the file). Then
you can update the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration settings.

Basically, it seems to be about loosening the Runtime Security Policy...

Maybe it's worth to ask google for information on this.

Strange problem.. when loading an assembly on a remote network drive
(VirtualBox Shared Folder) NUnit shows no test cases, as if no
TestFixtures were defined in the assembly. No errors are reported.

If the same assembly is copied to the local drive, then it loads and
the test cases are shown.

I've run Process Monitor, and there don't seem to be any errors with
reading the files off the remote drive... I have full write access to
the drive, as well.

Any ideas? Please let me know what I can do to debug this.. I don't
mind building NUnit from source, if someone can tell me what to look
for...
