ArgumentOutOfRange when compiling test project

Hi,

I get an ArgumentOutOfRangeException on NUnit v2.4.8 when I try to 
compile my the project with my tests. Seems like NUnit doesn't let you 
initialize static attributes with negative values that are going to be 
used as array indexes. The funny thing is that the first line of my 
TestCase is the initialization of that static attribute 
(ControladorNavegacao.MatriculaAtual) to a valid value.

Is there a way to disable this annoying and useless behavior? Because if 
you going to add something like this you should predict all possible 
code paths to see if the attribute is not going to be initialized to a 
valid value. Which is impossible or to complex to implement...
