Hi Ray - going to try that suggestion.....if there isn't an update for the Photosmart printer I've got I think what I'm going to do is take the suggestion of converting to a .pdf file and then printing

Appreciate your comment

Jay

My Samsung CLP-325 laser printer works well with it, but it is connected to a print server on my home network, not directly to the laptop. At work, I print, again through the internal network, to an HP Laser Jet 1020, which is connected to my secretary's desktop, also without any problem.

Keeping track of my business and personal life using an outliner format helps me stay organized and like so many of you I have never found a program with outlining capabilities that even approaches that offered by EccoPro. I first used EccoPro a decade ago but drifted away to OneNote but recently downloaded EPro and realized right away how much I missed it. But I have a problem and while it's been written about before with some suggested solutions, so far I've been unable to incorporate a suggested fix into solving my problem.

When I send a print command to the printer, the printer comes to life but then I get a Printing failed or was cancelled message. As much as I dislike the way the printer inhales print cartridges, it works great with all my other applications so can't justify ditching it.

I think I'll go get another printer to use just for Ecco. Or if someone has a different solution, I sure would be interested in learning more. Thanks very much from hot, humid Houston, TX!!
