It is not clear to me why the "Field mapping" was not disclosed earlier or at least when the product was released. It would have saved me a lot of time trying to figure out why certain things were not being synced and thinking I was doing something wrong when things like the "Priority" of tasks is not supported. My experience is similar to yours and I have used recurring events in ECCO with no problem for years. The good news is that in spite of that it says in the pdf document, my experience is that using the MPE product recurring events are syncing just fine in both directions between ECCO and my Android device. Hopefully this may be the case for others as well. Good luck
