Ecco Pro on Ubuntu 13.04

I have Ecco Pro 32 bit running on an old Dell Laptop with Ubuntu 13.04 and have one issue. When I go to my Calendar or Phonebook view the screen initially appears just fine. When I move the cursor around the screen, the screen starts to lose its original look and begins to become unreadable. If i switch to a notebook and then return back, the screen is fine.  

 When I start to move the cursor within the Calendar or Phonebook, I'm back to the same place as I described above. Anyone else have this issue? All other functionality appears to be working.
 

 I installed the software via Wine 1.4. I did not do a copy of my Windows Ecco Pro directory to my Wine directory as someone else has done.
 

 Any thoughts on what might be going on here would be appreciated.
