File is exact same as I used to manually install...
just create a new folder such as:
(so it is easily found along with/next to windows programs folder and you can change the folder icon to the Ecco icon for ease in finding for future ext.exe updates)
C:\Program - EccoExt (or just - Ecco if not going to use ext)
and paste the un-zipped files (as-is, folder structure et al) in this programs folder

Then create a shortcut to ecco.exe, click on shortcut and Ecco Pro runs

for adding ext, add the ext files to the EccoPro folder and create a shortcut to eccoext.exe, click on this shortcut and Eccoext runs

PS add/remove programs does not *see* this program

After my 2 hard drives linked in RAID 0 became unlinked I had to reinstall Win 7 Pro 64 bits using DVDs with the latest version and found that Ecco wouldn't install, so I searched on the issue and found this file:

   http://forums.eccomagic.com/forum/Attachments/pre-release-Manual_Install_001.zip http://forums.eccomagic.com/forum/Attachments/pre-release-Manual_Install_001.zip,

which corrected the problem, with no cost.

Upgraded to Windows 8.1. When starting Ecco get the message:
    Unhandled Registry Error (CFO)

Uninstalled Ecco, downloaded latest install pkg from Creative Services (64 bit without extensions), Reinstalled.

 Same error msg.

I use Ecco all day long and am lost without it.

 Can it be fixed?

 Thanks. Lawrence |
