If you download the EccoPro (orig 32 bit ver 4) file and latest eccoext file from this Yahoo forum (see files)....it is a very simple matter to create a new folder under C:/ and paste the files, create a shortcut to the ext.exe and you are running....no *install* at all.
 (I'm using win7x64 for a couple years and Ecco+ext runs perfectly well).
 If you need specific help to find the files and where to put them, ask here for more help.
 Look for:
 Ecco Pro4_Manual-Install.zip (or similar, I found it via Google search years ago)(has ecco32.exe and many more files) and eccoext4673.7z (or newer)(has eccoext.exe and a couple more files)

 I made a folder with this name to keep it next to the win7 program files folder;
 C:\Program - EccoExt\EccoPro

 Unzip each, put eccopro4 in the Program-Ecco folder then put the unzipped ext files in the EccoPro folder (now inside Program-Ecco folder) and dbl click eccoext.exe; should run right away....setup a place to keep/backup your .eco data file(s).
