Ecco and Windows 8.1

Not long after Windows 8.1 hit the stands, I saw a cautionary note in this forum about starting to use it with Ecco.  Friedhelm advised (and I certainly agreed) that it was better to wait and let the bugs and kinks be worked out of the new operating system.

Could we have an update on this topic?
