Re: Help please! A New Twist on the "Low Memory Condition" Problem

Hello Jim:

So the phonebook extra info is gone on your original and **all ** backup
files? That would seem impossible unless, indeed, the corrupted
"original" Ecco, in turn, corrupted the data files that you tried to
open with it. This is very worrisome, as computer crashes are,
unfortunately, fairly commonplace. Your experience should serve as a
serious warning to the rest of us, i.e. if the computer crashes with
Ecco open, copy your Ecco data and backup files before trying to open
them, and if you get the error message, reinstall Ecco.

Glad you recovered most of your data.

Please do report any further developments. We can all learn from your
experience.

Santiago
