I reported eccoext 4.6.7.6 to Avast about two weeks ago,

but they haven't responded...
www.virustotal.com shows

20 of 54 antivirus engines still rate it "infected".

Ecco Groupies ...

We got "eccoext.exe" cleared by Symantec (see below!). Norton
Internet Security reported that version 4.6.7.6 installed the virus
Infostealer.Gampass in eccoext.exe. If somebody else receives similar
messages with competing virus scanners please send me a hint to
"[email protected]" with the
virus name and the name of the security software so I can try to get
other "False Positives" solved.

Thanks,
