The origin of the problem is philosophic: Micro$oft has no commitment
to supporting applications that were created for older versions of
Windoze but fortunately, Linus Thorwald and company HAS.

You don't have to use Micro$oft's slow, buggy and expensive operating
system to be able to count on a functional and trouble free EccoPro
installation. (Sorry for the repetition, but it pains me, to see you
people suffer).

Written using Calculate Linux Desktop XFCE, where Ecco works fine, under
Wine. (It does also under Debian, Arch, and openSuse and their
derivatives, among others).
