Re: AVAST Virus Definition Update

Hi Friedhelm,

I updated my Avast AV this morning, when I read your message.

Tonight I finally got around to launching EccoPro with eccoext, but Avast
immediately quarantined eccoext, and offered to submit a False Positive
report.. Then I realized that I had used eccoext v4.6.7.4, so I attempted
to copy eccoext v4.6.7.6 into the EccoPro folder, but Avast blocked that
also. So now I have two "False Positive reports" to fill out,
and submit to Avast.

Is there a newer version of eccoext.exe that I should be using, newer
than v4.6.7.6?

Hello Friedhelm,

I am sorry for the delayed reply.

Our virus specialists have been working on the problem and it's already
fixed. The file "eccoext.exe" isn't detected by Avast
anymore.

Please update your Virus Definitions by following these steps:

Open Avast program and go to > Settings > Update > VIRUS
DEFINITIONS > Update.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me
