We just contacted Symantec again in
this matter, please do so from your end:

Ouch.

NIS removed my eccoext.exe
v4.6.6.7 to quarantine at 17:50:11 on 06/06/15. I had been using that
version of eccoext.exe since 4May15.

Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center.

Norton Internet Security 21.7.0.11.

In Australia.

We updated "eccoext.exe" to Version
4.6.7.7 and get the following messages from EccoPro Users:

I tried installing a newer version of EccoProX 4.6.7.7 today and
had an error message concerning file eccoext.exe with a very
recent version of Norton Security that was updated within the
last two weeks.

Norton Security found a Trojan Virus in an Ecco file eccoext.exe
yesterday and removed it. I am not able to run EccoPro today so
I tried downloading the newest version and reinstalling but it
still does not work. Noticed an announcement dated June 5, I
think, that this file has been cleared by Symantec -- but I just
installed it and it is not working. What do I need to do next to
get EccoPro to run?
