Database Archive Function not working

Ecco Groupies ... Does anybody remember a bug we discussed in the past with the EccoPro database archive function? I tested the function on my end with the original EccoPro and with the Ecco Extension, giving a purge date for appointments/ticklers the entries get archived and a new file is written but even if check-marked for deletion nothing gets deleted in the original file prior to the purge date. To exclude the possibility that it has to do with the original Ecco "date" bug I checked also purge dates prior to the Year 2000.
