To start EE with EccoPro just execute "eccoext.exe" in the Ecco
program folder. In Windows you will see a small EccoPro icon in
your lower toolbar at he right. Just right-click that icon and you
will see all the additional EccoPro options. How does it appear on
your screen under Wine?

I think it does, and this is why.

When I posted my last message I had already opened
Katmouse. After installing EE I turned it off and scrolling
still worked. That was under Fedora Xfce v.22 (the current
version)

Since then, I booted into Sparky Openbox (a Debian
derivative based on it's Testing edition, which is rolling -
meaning it is continuosly update if desired and therefore is
not numbered).

I then installed EE using a Wine Wrapper, which told me to
put the EE exe in the Ecco directory, which I did. I could
then scroll Ecco without using Katmouse. I think I then
shut down Ecco and reopened it and could still scroll. (I
may or may not have to reinstall EE each time I reboot - I
haven't tried that yet).

I don't recall what else EE does but judging from my
experience to date, EE works fine with Ecco under Wine.
