I'm not sure I understand what you want to do it sounds like you want to 
be able to link to a given email message and perhaps, schedule it.

Long ago ecco came with (as I recall) Z-Mail, which I remember using. 
But as I said, that was many years back.

I myself use the Mozilla Thunderbird email client, which is available 
for just about any operating system (as is Opera and SeaMonkey, I believe).

I can save a an email message in a number of formats and then Item > 
Launch > Add File as Item.

There are other was to do it. One lets you link to an icon. The one 
above presents a live link you can click on.

And since I use Ecco with various versions of Linux (i.e. Debian, 
Fedora, Manjaro, Gentoo)  as well as Windoze (albeit very rarely), and 
use the same .eco file with all of them, saving to a text file will be 
sure and open it.  I just tried the above method saving to an html file 
and it opened just fine in Fedora Xfce.
