Can you be more specific about what you mean by making an email into an Ecco Pro task?

It could mean a number of things.

For example:

it could simply mean you want to copy the subject line, or header or some other part(s) of an email into Ecco so that it becomes a standard Ecco outline item.

Or

It could mean that you want to be able to schedule an Ecco appointment directly from and email in some fashion.

Or

It could mean you want to have a link to that email in an Ecco item so you can click on the link and it takes you to the email.

Or it could mean other things.  Maybe you want ALL of the above... but the more specific you are the more we can focus on exactly what you want to accomplish.

I'm not saying any of these things are or are not readily doable, I just want to be clear on what your need is.  Most of the above would require you to build your own tools, but some simple things may be possible with the tools already in Ecco/EE.

Having said that, are you familiar with:

1. Ecco Shooter?  

2. Ecco Extension?  If so are you using it?

Depending on what you need, there may already be some support for it in place on your machine.
