I agree. I run Ecco on Win 7 installed directly on the C drive tree as C:\Office\Ecco. By doing so I avoid the "Windows Nanny State" otherwise known as "c:\Program Files (x86)". I'm not all that much a techie. I heard about it, tried it and it worked great. If this also works for Windows 10, then a shout-out to Microsoft for keeping up with the Jones-es (via touch screen, tablets, etc.) while letting us old timers have our full-strength Windows too. Question: Did you think Ecco could not be run this way on Win 7, 8 or 10 (outside of Program Files)? I thought so for a while when I got 7. I wonder how 'we all' got brainwashed on that issue? -Mark
