Re: Shortcut to Close Tabs?

Not that I am aware of.  Seems Ecco has you "set up", then "delete" Notepads, using a procedure to make them part of Ecco's layout. IE, you design with the intention of using.  (gotta remember this was 1990's brain).  

WHy do you want to close Notepads?  Is to save on 2-VOU resources (in EE's Memory Usage window)? (or "View Lines" in eccoMagic Memory Reporter?)  IE, the # of lines dislplaying in your Notepads? 

The easier/better workaround might be to create a filter that keeps zero lines displaying in a Notepad until you cancel the filter.  While it does use a few 1-Misc memory units (Pointers), it is tons better than getting wiped out with an innocent search request followed by a VOU overload error. 

I'm swinging in the dark w/ all this.  Sound good so far?
Have you tried/Want to try a filter?
