Re: Any kind of autocorrect in Ecco?

I didn't love any spell checks I tried.  I use a workaround which is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Do you have a program that spell-checks and which can read & write RTF?  Do you run Ecco+EE (EccoExt)??   For this work-around, you need all the above.
  
1) Select the text to be spell-checked, right click --> Extend Copy -> RTF Text.
2) Flip to you 'other' program and paste.  Unless something went wrong, formatting will be carried over.  
3) Correct spelling, select all, copy (RTF if choice is given) and flip back to Ecco.
4) Right click on a Notepad line --> Extend Paste -> RTF Outline the Text.  

If the 'paste' looks funny, refresh the Notepad.

That should do it for you.  

One more note ... do yo know about the Lock feature in EE?    I often mess up and using Lock (running EE again) right click anywhere on a line and select "Lock Item".  Then hit save and you're pretty darn safe :)
