Ecco not starting up on Windows 10

I've been an Ecco user for 20-odd years and have never had a technical
problem until this past week. But now when I click the Ecco icon on my
Windows 10 taskbar, another icon appears at the end of the taskbar - and
when I click that icon, nothing happens. Ecco doesn't open.

 

I have an EccoProX installation via CompuSol. This past Monday I tried
everything Compusol suggested to get things working, including a
reinstallation. No luck with anything. I do not have any antivirus program
on my machine other than the standards Windows 10 security.

 

I suspect that some sort of update from Microsoft has thrown things off.
Anyone else with recent difficulties along my line? Appreciate any advice
folks could give. Thank you!
