Probably, there is no corruption in the Registry, you just need to set permissions for Ecco keys manually (There was an instruction on compusol.org – google for ecco WinXP Permission Fix, and see the Cached version). Maybe I'll be able to ditch the old XP box after all! But after a WIN10 update, here is the Registry Error.....Looked up and down the registry for sign of corruption under the ECCO entries, no luck.. Site wouldn't let me in anymore so had to register again. Top post was about somebody right clicking on the ECCO Icon. I right clicked on the EXE and there is a Compatibility Troubleshooting option and a few clicks later ECCO is kicking again. Could not believe it. Many THANKS to this site again. PS: And still working...I just checked!
