Possible alternative applications

I have Ecco ProX64 installed on my Windows 7 desktop. I wanted to install it on my laptop also. I saved the zip file I downloaded in March 2016. I saved my license keys. I tried installing Ecco on my laptop using the saved zip file and license keys and the installation failed stating the license keys were invalid. The Ecco pro web site is not working. I appreciate the support given at this site. I assume no one is paid to provide support at this time. I have used Ecco Pro for over 14 years. It is the most important program I use each day. When one cannot reinstall the program then I feel it is necessary to find a different personal information manager (PIM) program. I'm wondering if anyone else has searched for a replacement for Ecco? Two possible candidates I have found are EssentialPIM and Todist. Ecco's pop up reminders have been very useful to me. EssentialPIM has pop up alarms and Todist does not. May be others could share their thoughts?
