Probably you could just copy your Ecco folder (the one where ecco32.exe is located) to the new computer and create a chortcut to the eccoext.exe (which also is in the Ecco folder). No installation is required.

(If there is no eccoext.exe in your Ecco folder you can download it from the sister group Ecco_pro, you will need to register but it’s free.)

Alternatively, there are several free installers around, e.g.

But I have not used any installer for a long time and don’t know for sure if it works under win 10.

It looks like my employer Johns Hopkins is pretty definitely going to upgrade my computer to Windows 10, and that I will need to re-install Ecco when they do.  Any tips on how to do this?  I don't have a license for the Windows 10 installer and am not sure how to get one now.
