Low Memory Condition When Addin To Specific Column

One of my outlines has a column which contains a number, and is used quite frequently. I recently started receiving a message of "Unable to Complete Command, low memory condition detected" when I try to enter a number into the column.
 

 I tried deleting an older section of the outline which is no longer needed in the hopes that this might free up some memory if it was simply a case of too much data in the column, but this did not help.
 

 
 Is there any way I can fix this column?
