OK I may be wrong here (I often am) .. I see you are using Win 10 64 (I am as well) ... You probably have windows UA turned on (ok with that) BUT in order to "protect" the files windows copies them to a hidden directory (you have to be logged  in as admin to find it and know where it is (can't remember off hand). THE solution to this ... Create a directory called C:\My Programs create a sub directory Ecco Pro. Go to the other ECCO pro group get the full installation zip (or rather 7z) files put them all in there expand them (You might want to include the eccoext application (solves a lot of the short comings in Ecco - my favourite is the two saturdays happening during a weekly print out) also grab the file - dlls for running ecco under wine (Linux) ... expand those into the same directory. You'll find that your alm cfg etc will be created again and you will have access ....It wiull work it does work....
