Dave, I misunderremembered. Ecco has a Net Location folder that seems to collect URLs. I think this folder had a command: http:# in it which collected all URLs. There is a Launch Internet menu item in the Manage Tools menu that is based on the value in the Net Location folder, so I think you could add https:# in that folder's auto assign rules OK, I am so easily drawn astray . . . I pulled out my original Internet.eco that NetManage bundled with Ecco. Opened it without eccoext. It would not launch an https URL. So I added https:# to auto assign rule in Net Location folder and Walla! It worked. I think you can also put file paths in the Net Location folder and you can open a file by double clicking on the text of the item without using Tools, Launch Item. But I would not run Ecco without eccoext. There are so many seemingly little things it does that make Ecco life sweeter. And you don't have to learn all of its powers to benefit. --Chris On 10/27/2017 15:11 PM, [email protected] [eccopro] wrote: > > > > Hi Chris -- > > HTTP files work fine as links.
