I have had to reinstall after totally removing ECCO PRO and get a blocking error message [1 Attachment]

I am a long time member of the original ECCO PRO Group. I installed from 
a old stored program for Window 7 in my Windows 7. I moved a couple of 
*.eco files in and they worked fine until I tried to close them and I 
get an error message "Unable to read or write   configuration file." I 
have not created master files and other to export, nor have I fiddled 
with any of the files.  Is the config file in with the data or in the 
program? How can I fix this.
