After searching the registry for every instance of ecco32.exe, I was able to resolve my issue to almost 100% satisfaction. When I right click on a .eco or .ect file I am now given the option to use C:\Program Files (x86)\ECCO\ecco32.exe %1 or under Other Options just select the Ecco Ico. The full path option does not open Ecco or launch the file, but if I click on the Ecco Icon the program will launch and open the requested file. This is definite progress, but it doesn't appear that Windows is remembering that I want to use the Ecco icon to launch the file.
