Rick, I think "mark" meant select. So if you opend a folder, you could 
select everything probably my using Ctrl-A or selective by holding donw 
Cntrl while left clicking on the items you want to combined. And then 
apply one of EccoMagic classic (or EE options) key combos to turn them 
all into one item.

Don's Ctrl-J works too for individual items but requires a lot more fuss 
to keep formatting the way you will probably want it. I use both 
approaches for different situations. --Chris
