You also raise a very good point about migration from Ecco to SS.

Since the migration tools available with SS thus far described are limited, I am expecting the need for a very substantial manual recreation of infrastructure in SS before I could use it.  That is not a trivial task and itself could take months to accomplish even once I am convinced that SS has the necessary features to accomplish it.

In addition there is a learning curve.

With the prospect of waiting for SS to be released, sufficiently debugged and developed to the point that I feel confident that it does what I need it to do, learning enough about it to feel comfortable that it will accommodate my needs, and then painstakingly doing a manual reconstruct of my Ecco infrastructure, I expect to still be using Ecco/EE for a significant amount of time if not indefinitely.

My hope is that I will be able to find time to contribute to the forwarding of SS development and help move this process along once it is available for evaluation.
